“I, Tracy Martin, would like to announce my candidacy for Waynesboro City Commissioner in the upcoming election on August 6, 2020. I have lived in Wayne County all my life. I have resided in Waynesboro for 30 years. I am married to Ricky Martin, and we have one daughter, Beverly Martin Long, who is married to Chase Long. They reside in Center, TN. I am the daughter of J.D. and the late Marie Pope, and the stepdaughter of Nell Pope of Clifton.

“I have an interest in helping the citizens of Waynesboro. I feel this city has the potential to grow. I am willing to work and help in the development and seeing that this city moves forward. I have been a school bus driver for the county for 18 years. I have always had a strong will to help those in need. I have never been one to sit back and not take action. I have a voice, and if elected, I will be the voice and take a stand for the taxpayers of Waynesboro.

“If anyone has any questions, feel free to call me at 931-722-0846. Your vote is greatly appreciated.”
