The Collinwood Beautification Board has announced that the annual Tractor Pull will be held on Friday, August 28th and Saturday, August 29th, and Old Timers’ Day will be on Saturday, September 5th.
This year’s Tractor Pull will be a Memorial Pull, held to honor the life of the late Brent “Beefy” Dixon. Beefy was a member of the Beautification Board, and a beloved friend and family member to many throughout the community.
The Beautification Board is proud to announce that this year’s Mr. and Mrs. Old Timer will be James and Sherline Morris. The musical entertainment lined up for Old Timers’ Day includes Eddie Thompson and the Band of Brothers, Southern Fire, and Johnny Moser’s Big River Band. Chuck Koblentz, owner and DJ of WWON Radio, will once again be the MC for the event. The sound system will be run by Tony Calton, and lots of wonderful music will be enjoyed throughout the day.
