Tommy Jack Eaves departed this life on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Park Rest Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 3 Months. He was born March 23, 1941, the son of the late Charlie and Delia Franks Eaves. Mr. Eaves served his country in the United States Army and was a retired truck driver.
He is survived by a son, Charlie Hadden of Huntsville, Al.; stepdaughter, Toma Prater of Clifton; grandchildren, Brooke Moore of Murfreesboro, Trina Breaud and husband Jeremy of Clifton, Travis Prater and wife Kerri of Linden, Terry Prater and wife Tasha of Clifton; 8 great-grandchildren; nephews Josh and Ken Eaves. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Eaves was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Ray Eaves; stepsons Mickey Hadden and Terry Joe Prater; companion, Ann Eaves; two brothers, Kenneth Eaves and Charles Eaves; sister, Betty Eaves.
Services were held on June 25, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors at Waynesboro in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Tracy Love officiating. Burial followed in the Clifton Cemetery at Clifton, Tennessee. Visitation was held Friday, June 25, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro. Pallbearers included Terry and Travis Prater, Charlie Hadden, Colby and Josh Eaves.
