Teresa Lynn Moore was born July 30, 1951 in Corinth, MS, the daughter of the late Eugene and Minnie Allen. She was a member of the Stantonville Church of Christ in Stantonville, Tennessee. She worked as a beautician for many years and also worked as a bank teller. She was a manager at Dana Financial Credit Union in Corinth before retiring. Teresa loved spending time with her family and being a homemaker for them.
Mrs. Moore departed this life on April 19, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 8 Months, 20 Days.
She is survived by her children: Mark Moore, Melody Battles and husband Greg, Craigg Moore; four grandchildren: Benjamin Burns, Baylee Burns, Tristan Moore, Hadleigh Moore; a sister, Karan Allen; a brother, Randy Allen; brother-in-law, Wilbert Walden; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Aubrey Gaylon Moore, he passed away on September 5, 2017; and a sister, Gilda Walden.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 5 – 8 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer, and on Friday from 10 am until funeral service at 11 am held at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Adamsville, with Randy Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery in Michie, Tennessee.
