Well, “seasons come and seasons go,” they say. 2021 left us with tornado warnings, temperatures in the mid 70’s and spoiled us with extremely warm weather for the holidays. 2022 enters with a rapid drop of subfreezing temperatures accompanied by our first beautiful white snow of the year.
This photo taken on highway 13 North of Waynesboro shows how thick and heavy this snow actually was. With schools still out for the holidays, surely it was the perfect time for the children to knock the dust off those old sleds stored in the back of their sheds.
Always use caution when inclimate weather is upon us. Be sure to check your local weather advisories.
