Strong Winds Cause Damage in Wayne and Surrounding Counties

   Widespread power outages and road blockages were reported across the county on Saturday, October 26^th as strong straight-line winds moved through the state. Many counties to the west and northwest of Wayne County suffered more extensive property damage, and an Adamsville man tragically lost his life when a tree fell on him during the storm. TVEC and Highway Department crews worked late into the evening to get roadways cleared and power restored to our area.
