The City of Clifton will be participating in the Christmas festivities with their annual “Stroll Through Christmas” on Saturday, December 12th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Main Street in the beautiful river city has already been beautifully decorated for the event and will be illuminated by candlelight for the event.

Several people will be dressed in old-time period clothing for the event. There will be hayrides and free hot dogs for everyone, and Santa Claus himself will be at the Clifton Chamber of Commerce!

“Professor and the Bell” will be the musical entertainment for the event. Their old-time music featuring a washboard is a delight to hear and see. “The Cliftones” will also be performing at the Stroll, entertaining everyone with their “homegrown” talent.

The evening will come to a close at the First Presbyterian Church beginning at 7:15. The historic building is the only building in the city that survived the Civil War. The annual candlelight service will conclude the evening with everyone participating in the singing of Christmas songs.

Everyone is invited to come out on Saturday and take a “Stroll Through Christmas!”
