Search Warrant Execution Yields Meth, Prohibited Firearms

On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at 8142 Roberson Cemetery Road in Iron City. The search yielded nearly three ounces of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and firearms.

Charles Randle Keeton was arrested and transported to the Wayne County Jail/Workhouse where he was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Weapon during a Dangerous Felony, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon. Keeton will appear in Wayne County General Sessions Court to answer the charges, and is being held on a $275,000 bond.
