Mr. Roger Glynn Ray was born in Waynesboro, TN on July 28, 1951 to his parents, the late Mr. Howard G. Ray and Mrs. Betty R. Davis Ray. Early in his childhood the Ray family moved from Tennessee to Michigan in the pursuit of a better life through various occupations and throughout his childhood Roger would learn to appreciate the natural beauties of the countryside he experienced. As an adult, he would meet his future wife Ms. Paulette Ducharme and the two would marry on November 27, 1970. They settled in Waynesboro, TN and set roots in Wayne County raising their family and becoming permanent fixtures in the community. Roger enjoyed the outdoors as he loved fishing, hunting, and curating his lawn. He was a member of the Five-0 Hunting Club and Waynesboro Bass Club. Mr. Roger also possessed an interest for working with his hands as he could often be found crafting wood and leather into new creations. He will be remembered as a hard worker and excellent provider for his family spending most of his adult life driving Semi trucks for various employers throughout the years.
