Iva “Billie” (Martin) Wilson, 93, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away on September 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born to the late Harrison Martin and Barbara Allie Reaves, Iva was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 35 years, Phillip Wilson.
Iva was a faithful member of Henderson Church of Christ. She found great joy in singing, playing guitar, sewing, and preparing meals for those she loved - especially her well-known biscuits and cornbread. Above all, Iva treasured the time she spent with her family.
She is survived by her children, Brenda Atkison (Greg) of Henderson, Kentucky; Michael Wilson of Paducah, Kentucky; and Alan Wilson (Allison) of Henderson, Kentucky.
Iva is also survived by her grandchildren, John Atkison (Tiffany) of Henderson, Kentucky; Kyle Wilson of Fort Bragg, North Carolina; and Ethan Wilson of Bowling Green, Kentucky; as well as her granddaughter-in-law, Karen Midgett.
Her great-grandchildren include Laura Baker (Robert) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; Stephen Midgett of Mount Juliet, Tennessee; Gracie Atkison of Henderson, Kentucky; Zachary Atkison of Henderson, Kentucky; and Lilly Atkison of Henderson, Kentucky.
In addition to her husband and parents, Iva was preceded in death by her siblings, Willard Martin, Virgil Martin, Ada Bell Greeson, Elzo Martin, Iveta Cummings, W.B. Martin, and Orville “Whitey” Martin; and her grandson, Andrew Midgett.
Iva will be remembered for her warm heart, her faith, her love of music and cooking, and the deep love she had for her family. Her legacy will continue through the many lives she touched.
