It's Time to RUN!

It’s time for the 2025 “Sweet Sixteen” Butterfly 5K! On Saturday, June 7, 2025, the 16th Annual Butterfly 5K will be held at Waynesboro City Park. There are already over 540 runners registered, and more are expected on race day.

Registration may be done online at butterfly5k.itsyourrace.com until race day, and runners can register on the day of the Run.

This year there will be an early packet pick-up on Friday, June 6, from 3:00-6:30 p.m. at the Waynesboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church, located at 108 Water Street in Waynesboro. Anyone who needs assistance with the online registration is invited to come to the early packet pick-up. Volunteers from The Butterfly Foundation will be glad to assist you.

On Saturday, runners can pick up their packets beginning at 6:15 a.m. Registration will open then and close at 7:20. The Run will begin PROMPTLY at 8:00, rain or shine! With so many entrants, it's important for runners to get to the park early to get their packets.

In 2024, The Butterfly Foundation gave grants totaling a little over $100,000 to families with some very real and scary health-related situations with their children. The annual Butterfly 5K is the largest fundraiser held each year for the Foundation.
