George Taylor Crews
George Taylor Crews was born on February 27, 1938, in Waynesboro, TN. He passed away November 18, 2025, in Perrysburg, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gus and Lucille (Brown) Crews of Waynesboro, TN; son, James Taylor Crews; grandson, Joshua Taylor Crews; great-granddaughter, Addy; and stepson, Danny.
He was a 1956 WCHS graduate and a Wildcat football player, #48.
He moved to Toledo, Ohio with his first wife, Christine (Martin) Crews. They had three children together, James, Debora, and Keith. He was a glass technician for LOF in Rossford, Ohio, retiring with over 30 years. He worked for Lake Township Cemetery for over 18 years, retiring in 2011.
George and Linda, his present wife, married in October 1988 in Walbridge, Ohio, adding to his family three stepchildren, Danny, Dianna, and Dawn.
Other survivors include sister, Dorothy Gobbell; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
