   Mrs. Shirley Jeanette Berry Faires was born March 30, 1940 in Cypress Inn, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Jamie and Laverne Wright Berry. She was united in marriage to Freddie Faires on July 1, 1967. Mr. Faires preceded her in death on May 17, 2010. Mrs. Faires worked as a factory worker and worked for some time in an attorney’s office. She was a member of the Collinwood Church of Christ. Mrs. Faires departed this life on May 28, 2021 in Cypress Inn, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 1 Month and 28 Days.

   She is survived by a son, Roger Faires and wife Sherry of Collinwood, TN; two daughters, Renee Box and husband Rafael Bautista of Cypress Inn, TN, Rebecca Wright and companion Doug Littrell of Cypress Inn, TN; a brother, Harold Berry and wife Sissy of Cypress Inn, TN; six grandchildren, Josh Haddock of Collinwood, TN, Tasha Stonecipher and husband Seth of Florence, AL, Amber Burbank of Florence, AL, Cody Wright of Florence, AL, Lakin Box of Florence, AL, Andrew Box of Cypress Inn, TN; nine great-grandchildren, Hunter, Chase, Gunner and Serinity Stonecipher, Sophia and Baylor Burbank, Liam McIntyre, Chloe Box, and Gracelyn Haddock. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law, Andy Akins, Jewell Bain and husband Robert, Gary Faires and wife Doris, Linda Faires all of Florence, AL, Ann Faires of Cypress Inn, TN, Sandra Faires of Lexington, AL and Danny Goza of Dennis, MS.

   In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Faires was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Granville Faires, Clyde Faires, Glenn Faires, Eddie Faires, Leo Melton, Shelba Faires, Shelia Faires, Quava Akins, Rachel Coza, Sue Melton, and Sharon Faires.

   Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 2, 2021 from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM at Pinehill Church of Christ. Services will be held on June 2, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Pinehill Church of Christ in Waterloo, Alabama, with Greg and Camryn Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Church of Christ Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting.

   The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Tia Moody, Tennessee Quality Hospice, Dr. Veeramachineni and Dr. Herrera for the care and compassion shown.
