Shelia Goodson Brown, Waynesboro, TN, was born October 26, 1942 in Rogersville, TN to the late John and Cora Wright Goodson. She married Thomas Brock Brown on May 20, 1988 and he preceded her in death on July 2, 2004. Mrs. Brown, a member of Houston Baptist Church, will be fondly remembered as a dedicated homemaker. She departed this life Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at St. Thomas Hospital West, Nashville, TN at the age of 79 years, 29 days.
Survivors, son, Caleb Brown, wife, Jessica, Iron City, TN; daughters, Chelsea Beckham, husband, Steven, Lawrenceburg, TN and Alisha Creecy, husband, Matthew, Waynesboro, TN; sister, Wanda Santos, husband, Clarence, Newark, OH; brother, Lowell Goodson, wife, Barbara, Rogersville, TN; grandchildren, Maddie Brown, Levi Beckham, Chaston Morrow, wife, Sunshine, Chandler Brown, Aimeka Brown and Brock Brown. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Valarie Pope; son, Nathan Brown and several brothers and sisters.
Services were Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, TN. Greg Eaton officiated. Burial was in Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee. Shackelford Funeral Director, Wayne County directed. Pallbearers were Chaston Morrow, Chandler Brown, Dakota Beckham, Caine Beckham, Terry Joe Beckham, Dustin Ray.
