   Shannon Lamb was born July 15, 1928 in Paint Lick, Kentucky, the son of the late Russell and Bessie Kinnard Lamb. He was united in marriage to Margaret Akers on December 24, 1953. Mr. Lamb proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Fire Chief and worked for the  Haines City Packing House in Florida for many years. He enjoyed working on his farm and spending time outdoors and was a member of the Houston Baptist Church. Mr. Lamb departed this life at his home on September 25, 2021 in Collinwood, Tennessee at the age of 93 Years, 2 Months, 10 Days.

   He is survived by his wife Margaret (Akers) Lamb of Collinwood, TN; a son, Shannon Edward Lamb and wife Diane of Murphy, NC; two daughters, Shandra Kay Lamb of Collinwood, TN, Ellen Marie (Lamb) Dunway and husband Ricky of Haines City, FL; a brother, Edgar Lamb of Deputy, IN; 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

   In addition to his parents, Mr. Lamb was preceded in death by five brothers, James William Lamb, Howard Lamb, Cecil Lamb, Ernest Lamb, Glenmore Lamb.

   Services will be held on September 30, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Houston Baptist Church in Collinwood, Tennessee, with John Scoggin officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery at Collinwood, Tennessee
   Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 30  from 11:00 am till 1:00 PM  at Houston Baptist Church in Collinwood, Tennessee.
