The 13th Annual Butterfly 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022. This event is the major fundraiser for the Foundation which has done so much for so many families in the Wayne, Hardin, and Lawrence County areas in particular.
The Butterfly Foundation, Ryleigh Remembered was founded in 2007 by the Stegall family after the death of Ryleigh Meree Stegall from Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. The Foundation gives monetary support to families with children with life-threatening or life-altering conditions for transportation costs to doctor appointments and hospital stays. To date, the Foundation has helped 347 families with grants totaling $898,885.
Sponsorship forms will be sent out in the mail in February, and race forms will be available then as well as on-line registration. Be looking for your opportunity to help the Foundation. See you at the Run!
