Rothie Lineberry Ray was born February 24, 1930 to the late William B. and Delpia Riley Flippo Gifford. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 13 siblings and 2 husbands, Richard Lineberry and Curtis Ray. Mrs. Lineberry-Ray departed this life on Monday, September 19, 2022 in Lawrenceburg, TN at the age of 92 years, 6 months, and 26 days.
She is survived by a daughter, Joan Gladden Stover; grandsons, Loren (Ellie) and Lannon (Leslie) Gladden; great-grandsons, Jagger (Samantha), Tanner (Whitney), and Lee (Ashley) Gladden; seven great-great grandchildren; one bonus great granddaughter, Allison Battles; and two bonus great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, TN. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors at Waynesboro in Waynesboro, TN, with Rev. John Pennington officiating. Burial followed in the Riverside Methodist Church Cemetery at Clifton, TN.
