Ronnie Mac (Lightning) Brewer

   Ronnie Mac (Lightning) Brewer, Collinwood, Tennessee, was born January 11, 1947 in Collinwood, Tennessee, the son of the late John Robert (Buck) and Edna Earl Staggs Brewer. He married the former Margie Sue Daniel and she died on May 11, 2012. Mr. Brewer, a retired mechanic at Genesco Manufacturing, departed this life Thursday, April 16, 2020 at his home at the age of 73 Years, 3 Months, 5 Days.

   Survivors, a son, Sammie Mac Brewer and a daughter, Jamie Sue Brewer Burns, husband, Jason all of Collinwood, TN; grandchildren, Destinee Faith Brewer, Florence, AL, Logan Max Brewer, Waynesboro, TN, Kandace Michelle Brewer, Hot Springs, AR, Emma Jade Burns, Collinwood, TN; brother, Dexter Dan Brewer, wife, Jeanette and sister, Kathy Skillern, husband, Terry all of Collinwood, TN; and nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by brothers, Paul and Gary Brewer and sisters, Carolyn Ann Staggs and Mona Lisa Wooten.

   A private graveside service for the family and burial was at Butler Grove Cemetery, Iron City, TN, at 3 pm, Monday, April 20, 2020. Greg Eaton officiated. Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County directed. Pallbearers were Larry Miller, Sherman Martin, David Earl Daniel, Nathan Daniel, J.C. Daniel, and John Skillern, with Chazton Staggs as honorary pallbearer.

   IN RESPONSE TO GOVERNOR LEE’S EXECUTIVE ORDER 17, WHICH TOOK EFFECT AT 12:01 AM ON MARCH 23, 2020, THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC VISITATION OR SERVICES UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. WE APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION AND APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.
