Roger Dale Daniel of Collinwood, Tennessee was born October 15, 1948 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the son of the late Willie Louis and Gertrude Brown Daniel. He was retired from Murray Ohio Manufacturing Company in Lawrenceburg, TN. Mr. Daniel departed this life on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 1 Month and 6 Days.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Dial Daniel of Collinwood, TN; a son, Gregory Dale Daniel and wife, Peggy of Iron City, TN; a daughter, Mylinda Carol Bratcher and husband, Michael of Cypress Inn, TN; three grandsons, Blaze Daniel and girlfriend, Courtney Rhodes, Ryley Daniel and girlfriend, Makayla Nance and Hayden Bratcher; a sister, Linda Gail Ray of Waynesboro, TN; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Daniel was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond Earl Daniel, James Ray (Shorty) Daniel and Richard Neal Daniel and grandson, Colby Michael Bratcher.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee, with David Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens of Wayne County in Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County assisting the family. Visitation will be Sunday, November 29, 2020 from 1 PM to service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Anthony Daniel, Stephen Daniel, Tim Daniel, Brandon Ray, Billy Ray and Jeff Dial with his grandsons serving as honorary pallbearers.
