Robert Glen Goodman was born January 14, 1946 in Wayne County, Tennessee, the son of the late Earl and Louise Walker Goodman. He was united in marriage to the former Diane Pulley on August 13, 1966 and she preceded him in death on July 27, 2018. He worked as a machinist for TVA and attended The Carpenter’s Shop in Savannah, TN. Mr. Goodman departed this life on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center, Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 2 Months and 3 Days.
He is survived by a son, Chris Goodman and wife, Teresa of Clifton, TN; a daughter, Tammy Clark and husband, Steve of Lobelville, TN; a sister, Ann Skelton and husband, Ricky of Columbia, TN; four grandchildren, Mickey Goodman, Danny Goodman, Joe Goodman and Hayden Clark and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Goodman was preceded in death by a sister, Earlene Goodman and a grandchild, Sherri Goodman.
Services were held on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Old Union Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Dean and Diane Rogers officiating. Burial was in the Worley Cemetery at Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
