   Robert Cole (Bob) Turman, Waynesboro, Tennessee was born March 3, 1952 in Waynesboro. Bob, a member of the WCHS class of 1970 and Kappa Alpha Fraternity at Middle Tennessee State University, was an educator, guidance counselor and coach with Wayne County Board of Education. He ran the time clock for 32 years for WCHS basketball, was a radio color commentator for WCHS football, and was an avid Alabama and Chicago Cubs fan.  Many remember Bob for his entertaining skills as a piano player. He was a member of Waynesboro Church of Christ and served as a City of Waynesboro Judge from September, 1984 to present day. Bob departed this life Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center, Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 68 Years, 9 Months, 2 Days.

   Survivors are his wife since November 12, 1977, Sarah Nutt Turman, Waynesboro; sons, Robert Cole Turman, II, wife, Brianna, Waynesboro, Andrew Ray Turman, wife, Rachael, Columbia, TN; daughter, Sarabeth Louise Turman, Waynesboro; grandchildren, Grace Caroline, Nicholas Chandler, and Harper Mae Turman; brother, Richard Turman Black, wife, Jennifer, Parsons, TN.

   Bob was preceded in death by parents, Robert Clinton Nicholson, Joyce Sue Turman Black and Richard Haggard Black; grandparents, J. Fay Turman, Sr. and Louise Shelton Turman. 

   Services were Monday, December 7, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Waynesboro Church of Christ, Waynesboro. Cary Crews and David Miller officiated with burial in Wayne Furnace Church of Christ Cemetery. Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County directed. Pallbearers were Jack Etheridge, Lance Nutt, Jeff McWilliams, Ryan McWilliams, Rick Rice, Gregg Lee, Greg Morris, David Sisk, Bronson Reaves, and Fay Turman. Honorary pallbearers were David Hasting, Ralph Hughes, David Byrd, Coy Anderson, Martin Haggard, Jr., Shannon Beckham, Terry Fielder, Ryan Franks, Ric Wilson, Nicky Dixon, Jeff Ray, Danny Davis, Ronnie Yeiser, Rick Barnett, Leo Doyle, and Jim Mangubat.
