Mr. Richard Neal Daniels, age 67, of Collinwood, Tennessee, was born in Florence, Alabama on November 4, 1953 to the late Johnny (Penny) and Willa Ruth Brewer Daniels. He was united in marriage to the former Teresa Thompson on May 27, 1973. Mr. Daniels was a road machinist with Tennessee Valley Authority Contractors and was a member of the Machinist Local #65. He departed from this life on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN.
Mr. Daniels was the loving and caring husband of Teresa Thompson Daniels of Collinwood, TN and the father of Heath Daniels and wife, Jessica of Collinwood, TN. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Wade (Penny) Daniels and his wife, Sheila of Collinwood, TN; his sister, Lisa Farmer and her husband, Anthony of Smyrna, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The funeral services for Mr. Daniels were held on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 3 pm at the First Baptist Church in Collinwood, TN with Darrin English officiating. His committal service and his burial were in the Memorial Gardens of Wayne County in Collinwood, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County assisting the family.
