Mr. Richard David Daniel was born January 21, 1946 in Collinwood, Tennessee to the union of the late Carnell “Cricket” and Imogene Brison Daniel. He was united in marriage to Betty Kilburn on Saturday, July 3, 1965. Mr. Daniel was a Machine Operator at Murray Ohio, a member of the Lawrence County Classic Car Club, and he attended the Zion Baptist Church in Waynesboro, TN. Mr. Daniel departed this life on November 5, 2019 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee making his stay in this life some 73 Years, 9 Months and 15 Days.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty Kilburn Daniel of Waynesboro, TN; a son, Ricky Daniel and wife Chrystie of Waynesboro, TN; a daughter, Angie Daniel Purcell and husband Chuck of Lawrenceburg, TN; a brother, Roy Daniel and wife Mabelline of Leoma, TN; two sisters, Patricia Daniel Oglesby and husband David of Nashville, TN, Janice Daniel Miller and husband Dale of Lawrenceburg, TN; two grandchildren, Josh Daniel of Waynesboro, TN, Jacey Purcell of Lawrenceburg, TN; and a great-grandchild, Triton Daniel of Savannah, TN.
Mr. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Carnell “Crickett” and Imogene Brison Daniel, two brothers, Robert “Bob” Daniel, Michael Anthony Daniel, and a sister, Ramona Daniel Kelley.
Services were held on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Danny Huckaba officiating. Burial followed in the Cole Cemetery at Waynesboro, Tennessee
