The City of Waynesboro will accept bids for Street/Road Asphalt Repairs. Repairs must consist of a minimum of 4″ milling, filled with 2″ TDOT BM2 and 2″ TDOT 411D asphalt mix and rolled. Bidders shall submit sealed bids no later than 4:00 PM CDT, September 11, 2020 at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids will be presented at the regular City Commission meeting on September 14, 2020 for awarding.
No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for a period of 45 calendar days.
Bidding documents should be mailed or hand delivered to: John Hickman, Waynesboro City Hall, Street/Road Asphalt Repairs, P.O. Box 471, 122 Public Square East, Waynesboro, TN 38485.
Electronic or verbal transmissions, or bids received after the closing date and time will not be accepted. No Faxed bids will be accepted. The City of Waynesboro reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities or informalities, and to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
No bid will be opened unless the sealed envelope containing the bid provides the following information: All bids must be in a sealed envelope marked “Street/Road Asphalt Repairs.”
