Sandra Satterfield age 64, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, was arrested on Tuesday, January 14th on a capias issued by the Wayne County Grand Jury after being indicted for Conspiracy to Sell Methamphetamine. Satterfield was the last remaining at-large offender to be picked up following a multi-state, year-long investigation led by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office called “Operation Omerta.”

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office put thousands of man hours into the investigation leading up to the arrests, with help from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the 22nd District Drug Task Force, and the 22nd District Attorney’s Office. The Wayne County Grand Jury returned indictments against fourteen individuals, including Satterfield, for the meth distribution conspiracy ring. Sheriff Shane Fisher said that the suspects arrested were not just users, but upper level dealers suspected of bringing hundreds of pounds of methamphetamine into Wayne County.

Satterfield was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $50,000.00 bond.
