It’s almost time once again for the tractor pull that brings excitement and big crowds to Collinwood every year…the 12th annual “Pullin’ in the Wood!” Hosted by the Collinwood Beautification Board, the event will be held over two nights, Friday, August 28th and Saturday, August 29th. This year’s pull will be a Memorial Pull, held to honor the life of the late Brent “Beefy” Dixon. Beefy was a member of the Beautification Board, and a beloved friend and family member to many throughout the community.

The antique pull is coming up first on Friday, August 28th. Gates open at 5:00 p.m., and the Dedication Ceremony will be held at 6:30. The pulling will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday will be the official United States Pullers Association tractor pull. Gates will open again at 5:00 p.m., with pulling to begin at 7:00. Concessions and t-shirts will be available for purchase.

Masks, social distancing, and good hygiene are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED for attendees of the event!

The event is held at the tractor pull site at the intersection of Highway 13 and Railroad Bed Road in Collinwood. Parking is somewhat limited, so be sure to get there early, and bring your lawn chairs for additional seating.

For more information on the event, call Jerdie Ayers at 931-722-1099.
