   Wayne County 911, in order to resolve communications gaps for first responders in the Clifton area, has constructed a 180 foot self-supporting telecommunications tower. Due to the proximity to the Clifton airport, the FAA requires the tower to have aviation warning lights, medium intensity dual red/white strobes. During daylight hours the tower will have a medium intensity white strobe light and at night there will a red flashing light to warn aircraft of the tower.  The site location is 109 Jerry Prater Road in Clifton, Wayne County, Tennessee. (35-23-33.6 North and 087-57-29.6 West) adjacent to the city of Clifton water storage tank. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Antenna Structure Registration (ASR, Form 854) filing number is A1170093. 

   ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS – Interested persons may review the application (www.fcc.gov/asr/applications) by entering the filing number. Environmental concerns may be raised by filing a Request for Environmental Review (www.fcc.gov/asr/environmentalrequest) and online filings are strongly encouraged.
