Projects are Underway at Waynesboro City Park

Waynesboro City Commissioners instructed City Manager John Hickman at the last city meeting to begin the process of soliciting bids for the construction of a new pavilion at the Waynesboro City Park. The old pavilion was destroyed by fire on November 17, 2020, leaving only the concrete pad, old fireplace, and old restrooms that were being used for storage. The new pavilion will not include a fireplace, therefore making more square footage available for picnic tables and seating.
