Philip Dwayne Berry, Wesley Trent Reaves Arrested on Methamphetamine Charges

   Philip Dwayne Berry, age 56, of Waynesboro and Wesley Trent Reaves, age 41, of Collinwood were arrested on Friday, January 24th following a traffic stop. Deputy Tyler McKenzie performed a traffic stop for a non-working headlight on the vehicle driven by Reaves. Reaves was allegedly found to be in possession of approximately 1.6 grams of methamphetamine, digital scales, and three syringes. Berry, the passenger, allegedly attempted to throw a plastic bag away from the vehicle that contained approximately 4.5 grams of methamphetamine. Reaves was arrested on charges of manufacture/delivery/sale/possession of methamphetamine, and was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $85,000.00 bond. Berry was arrested on a charge of manufacture/delivery/sale/possession of methamphetamine, and was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $75,000.00 bond.
