Paula Dean Willett Farmer of Waynesboro, TN was born on November 25, 1937 in Mayfield, KY. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Ruth Griffith Willett. Ms. Farmer was a retired assembly line worker from Lincoln Brass and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee. Ms. Farmer departed this life on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 84 Years, 10 Months and 6 Days.
She is survived by sons, Dale Farmer and wife, Lori of Waynesboro, TN and Craig Farmer and wife, Tricia of Huntsville, AL; eight grandchildren, Jessica Farmer, Allen Farmer, Ashley Ray, Garrett Farmer, Hayden Wright, Mallory Wright, Dillon Farmer, and Jayla Farmer; great-grandchildren, Ivy Smith, Ava Wright, Mia Wright, Ares Contromono, Ivan Contromono, and Heidi Ray. In addition to her parents, Ms. Farmer was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Farmer; a sister, Jane Waggoner; and her former husband, the father of her children, Donald Farmer.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Tim Hanback officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County, assisting the family. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 10:30 am to service time at 1 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Garrett Farmer, Hayden Wright, Allen Farmer, Bronson Reaves, Kelby Ray, and Dillon Farmer.
