Paul Jackson Huskey of Cypress Inn, Tennessee was born April 14, 1943 in Wayne Count, TN, the son of the late Monroe and Mamie Murray Huskey. He was united in marriage to the former Janie Lee Stooksberry on May 15, 1965. Mr. Huskey, a retired truck driver, served seven years in the Tennessee National Guard. He departed this life on Friday, September 10, 2021 at TriStar Southern Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 4 Months and 27 Days.
Mr. Huskey is survived by his wife, Janie Stooksberry Huskey of Cypress Inn, TN; a son, Robert Huskey of KY; a daughter, Connie Huskey Brewer and her husband, Michael of Cypress Inn, TN; grandchildren, Zane Huskey, his fiancee’, Passion; Tyler Huskey, his fiancee’ Shiloh; Taylor Brewer, his wife, Caleigh; and Presley Brewer; great-grandchildren, McKenna, Trinity, Tyson and Tea (prounced Taya) Huskey and Mase and Miller Brewer; sisters, Robnetta Sherrill and Reba Butler and her husband, Stan all of Collinwood, TN and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Mr. Huskey was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Bobbie Huskey; a brother, Johnny Huskey and sisters, Ruby Dean Robbins and Ruth Robbins.
Graveside services were on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Gardens of Wayne County, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Greg Stults officiating. Burial followed with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County assisting the family. Pallbearers were Zane Huskey, Tyler Huskey, Michael Brewer, Stoney Lynn, Joseph Rich, and David Stooksberry with Taylor Brewer as an honorary pallbearer.
