Patricia Gayle Morgan Brewer was born on October 27, 1955 in Waynesboro, TN, the daughter of the late Charles Eugene and Clara Nell McCurry Morgan. She was united in marriage to Michael Lynn Brewer on September 12, 1998. Mrs. Brewer worked for many years as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Wayne County Nursing Home and was a member of Wayne Furnace Church of Christ in Waynesboro, TN. She departed this life on Monday, December 19, 2022 in Columbia, TN at the age of 67 years, 10 months, and 22 days.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Lynn Brewer; a son, Jimmy Daniel Prater; a daughter, Heather Leigh and husband Lynn Warren; her brothers, Charles Dwayne Morgan and wife Regina, Larry Keith “Kojak” Morgan, all of Waynesboro, TN; her sisters, Jackie Pevahouse and husband Bobby of Clifton, TN, and Marilyn McClain and husband Jeff of Hermitage, TN; her grandchildren, Dylan Prater, Landyn Prater, Lauren Prater, Lou Prater, Leaya Prater, Barrett Prater, and Jaylee Warren; and her great grandchild, Andre Prater.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, TN with Cary Crews officiating. The burial followed in the Memorial Gardens in Waynesboro, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
Pallbearers were Kelvin Runions, Donnie Runions, Sheldon Morgan, Gregory Brewer, Dylan Prater, Thomas Brewer, and Landyn Prater.
