Norma Jean Warren Martin, Waynesboro, TN was born August 4, 1936 in Waynesboro, TN, to the late Samuel Lewis and Lillie May Turnbow Warren. She was united in marriage to Elvin Cecil Martin on July 16, 1958 and he preceded her in death on November 16, 2020. Mrs. Martin was a seamstress and homemaker and departed this life on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at her home at the age of 85 Years, 2 Months, 5 Days.
She is survived by a son, Tracy Martin, wife, Cindy, Waynesboro, TN; a daughter, Dana Lawrence, husband, Keith, South Fulton, TN; grandchildren, Chelsie Chumney, husband, Jay, Shelby Campbell, husband, Sonny, Mallory and Joel Martin, and Anna Kate and Connor Lawrence; great-grandchildren, Amelia and Savannah Campbell and Joanna and Janie Chumney; sister, Ludine Martin, Waynesboro, TN; sisters-in-law, Juanita Warren, Virginia Beach, VA and Bernice Martin, Corinth, MS and nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by brother, Cletus Warren and sisters, Mable Warren and Hazel Inman.
A graveside service was Monday, October 11, 2021 at Memorial Gardens of Wayne County, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Adam Harris officiating. Burial followed with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County assisting the family.
