Nita Glen Kelly, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020 at the Ingham Regional Medical Center – McLaren Hospital, in Lansing, Michigan. She was born June 16, 1939 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the daughter of Albert and Susie (Skelton) Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth L. Kelly and her siblings. She is survived by five children, Ken (Carla) Kelly, Cindy (Bill) Bradshaw, Sharon Kelly, Jeff (Michelle) Kelly and Tim (Dawn) Kelly all of Jackson, Michigan; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.
Nita was Co-Owner of Kelly Installation, and up until 1993, she physically worked with her family as a Siding Applicator, and after that, she continued to work the Window and Door Store in Jackson. She was a longtime, outstanding member of the Home Builders Association of Jackson and she was also a member of Northwest Baptist Church.
A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Nita Glen Kelly will be held at Northwest Baptist Church (7600 Lansing Avenue, Jackson, Michigan 49201) on Thursday, October 1, 2020, beginning at 12:00 noon, with Pastor Hal Jankusky officiating. Interment will follow in Roseland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
