Something red, shiny, and new was delivered to the Wayne County Ag Center site last week – the tractor donated by Kubota that came with the $100,000 grant the Ag Center won last year! UT Extension Agents Megan Harris and Anita Butler were able to take the tractor for a little ride, following a short driving instruction course from the Brown Equipment gentleman who delivered the tractor.
The Ag Center is coming along nicely, with concrete poured, walls going up, and electrical poles being installed. Progress is being made every day, and it won’t be long until the Ag Center is “open and ready for business!”
