Nathan William Ritter, age 31, of Savannah, Tennessee, was arrested on Thursday, December 5th on multiple charges related to a motor vehicle accident that occurred on November 30th, 2019. Sgt. Jeff Webb of the Tennessee Highway Patrol filed charges against Ritter stating that on November 30th, Ritter was operating a vehicle on Railroad Bed Road while allegedly under the influence of an intoxicant, which blood tests later revealed to be methamphetamine. Ritter and his passenger, Kayla Stults, were involved in a serious injury crash which caused serious bodily harm to Stults as stated by Sgt. Webb. Ritter was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine at the time of the crash, and was driving on a revoked license. Ritter was charged with violation of probation, driving under the influence, vehicular assault, simple possession, and driving on a revoked license. He is being held in the Wayne County Jail with no bond.
