Ms. Nancy Marie Skelton Gervais was born December 3, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to the union of the late Earl and Mary Jane Hammond Skelton. Ms. Gervais was a waitress. She departed this life on June 2, 2020 in Columbia, Tennessee, making her stay in this life some 65 Years, 5 Months and 30 Days.
Survivors who love her dearly include: her daughters, Michelle Skelton of Michigan City, IN and Deanna Skelton of Bridgeview, IL; a brother, David Earl Skelton of Indianapolis, IN; four grandchildren, Kaitlynn Ayala, Vincent Ayala, Jordan Wallace, Felicia Skelton and Jimmy Paul Hodo. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Breanna Oliver, Kaylani Ashley and Luciano Ayala; her favorite loving aunt Gina Kelley of Clifton, TN; a loving cousin Sandy Knight of Clifton, TN; as well as many other loving uncles, aunts, cousins, and other loving family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Mary Jane Hammond Skelton; two sisters, Patti Jo Gajewski, Karen Skelton; a brother, Larry Keith Skelton; and her fiance’, Tommy Hogan.
There will be no services at the funeral home, as Ms. Gervais’ wishes were to be cremated with no funeral service. Shackelford Funeral Directors is assisting the family.
