Michael Shayne Kelley Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges, Bond Set at $340,000

   Michael Shayne Kelley, age 36, of Collinwood, was arrested on Tuesday, May 19th on multiple drug-related charges. Kelley was initially placed under arrest by Deputy Michael Byrd on a capias issued by the Wayne County Grand Jury, who returned indictments against Kelley on April 20th for possession and sale of drugs including methamphetamine, marijuana, morphine, and Suboxone. After Kelley was transported to the Wayne County Jail to be booked for the capias arrest, he was allegedly found to be in possession of a glass pipe, marijuana, a Suboxine strip, and approximately 1.6 grams of methamphetamine. Kelley then received additional charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of schedule III, simple possession of schedule VI, tampering with evidence, introduction of contraband into a penal facility, and methamphetamine manufacture/delivery/sale/possession. He was booked into the Wayne County Jail on a total bond of $340,000.00.
