Melissa (Meg) Martin Stults of Collinwood, TN was born November 6, 1970 in Florence, AL. Mrs. Stults was a daughter of the late John Frank and Elizabeth Irons Martin. She was united in marriage to Jeremiah Micah Stults on June 12, 1999. Mrs. Stults was a Social Worker, having worked for 25 years at the TN Department of Children Services in Waynesboro, TN. She was a member of the Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Cypress Inn, Tennessee. Mrs. Stults departed this life on Monday, November 28, 2022 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 52 Years and 22 Days after a sudden illness.
She is survived by her husband, Jeremiah Micah Stults of Collinwood, TN; daughters, Isabelle Stults and Olivia Stults, both of Collinwood, TN; a brother, Ricky Witt of Cypress Inn, TN; a sister, Trina Rich and husband, W.C. of Iron City, TN and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee with Greg Eaton, Stephen Stults, and John Dial officiating. Burial was in the Piney Grove Cemetery, Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family. Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 6 pm to 9 pm and again on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 11 am to service time at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers were Mac Holt, Austin Holt, Brian Smith, Joe Hanback, Stan Horton, and Dwayne Pigg.
