Matthew Todd Freemon, age 38, of Waynesboro, was arrested on Friday, June 26th on drug charges after a traffic stop performed by Sergeant Bryant Burcham of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office. Sgt. Burcham’s report stated that he performed a traffic stop on Freemon’s vehicle which Freemon was operating on a suspended driver’s license. After a search of Freemon’s vehicle, officers allegedly recovered a sunglasses case containing a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine, and approximately .09 grams of methamphetamine hidden behind the console. Freemon was arrested on charges of driving on a revoked/suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia, and manufacture/delivery/sale/possession of methamphetamine. He was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $82,500.00 bond.
