Mary Frances Martin Holt Lawrence passed away Monday, April 3, 2023 at Life Care Center, Columbia, TN, after an extended illness, at age 95.
Born January 24, 1928 in Waynesboro, TN, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Martin and Rebecca Loretta McWilliams Martin.
Frances was a homemaker and worked as a seamstress for many years.
Frances was a member of the Wayne County Bible Center while living in Waynesboro.
Frances is survived by half-brother, Jimmy Huggins; children, Kenneth Ralph Holt (Barbara) of Spring Hill, TN, and Kathy Belle Holt Prater (Donny) of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren, Kenneth Scott Holt (Angelia) of Hohenwald, TN, Angela Dawn Prater Gobbell of Hohenwald, TN, and Sandra Gail Holt Johnson of Murfreesboro, TN; 7 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Frances is preceded in death by sister, Lillian Beatrice Martin Fowler; half-brother, Donald Edward Martin; and stepfather, Everett McCoy “Mack” Howell.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 1:00pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, TN with Scott Holt officiating. Burial in Worley Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
Pallbearers: Lane Gobbell, Riley Gobbell, Andrew Holt, Kenton Holt, Jonathan Holt, Caleb Holt, Cooper Norris, and Michael Norris.
