Marshall Francher Dixon, age 52, of Waynesboro, was arrested on Saturday, December 12th on charges of felon in possession of a firearm, altered registration, and driving on revoked/suspended 4th offense. The report filed by Deputy Holly Tuck stated that she was dispatched to Waterfall Creek Road in reference to a suspicious vehicle. When Deputy Tuck made contact with the vehicle matching the description given, which was being driven by Dixon, she discovered that the registration sticker had been altered. Deputy Tuck also discovered that Dixon’s driver’s license was revoked. The report went on to state that there was a rifle and ammunition in the passenger seat of the vehicle, and Dixon is a previously convicted felon. Dixon was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $95,000.00 bond.
