Margie Nell Dixon Caperton Blalock of Waynesboro, Tennessee was born March 4, 1955 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the daughter of the late John Lewis and Mary Christine Kilburn Dixon. She was of the Baptist faith and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Ms. Blalock departed this life on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the age of 65 Years, 11 Months and 19 Days.
She is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Grigsby and husband, Albert of Lawrenceburg, TN; four grandchildren, Trenton Grigsby, Triston Grigsby, Gavin Grigsby and Christy Caperton; two great-grandchildren, Xaiden Grigsby and Cayden Powell. She is also survived by four brothers, Junior Dixon, Willard Dixon and Bobby Dixon all of Waynesboro, TN and Harold Dixon of Collinwood, TN and a sister, Reba Dixon Kilburn and husband, James of Collinwood, TN. In addition to her parents, Ms. Blalock was preceded in death by two sons, Christopher Caperton and Keith Caperton; two brothers, George Dixon and DeDe Dixon and an infant sister, Joyce Nell Dixon.
Services were held, Monday, March 1, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Chad Balentine officiating. Burial was in the Shields Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County assisting.
