Mrs. Margaret Anne Allen Davis was born on July 16, 1942 in Nashville, TN. She was a daughter of the late John Bernice and Margaret Louise Louier Allen. Mrs. Davis was united in marriage to Eugene Jonah Davis, Jr. on September 23, 1960. She was a homemaker and a member of the Green River Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee and departed this life on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at her home at the age of 80 Years, 1 Month and 12 Days.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Eugene Jonah Davis, Jr. of Lawrenceburg, TN; sons, Samuel Scott Davis and wife, Katie of Largo, FL and Matthew Allen Davis and wife, Pam of Lawrenceburg, TN; grandchildren, Dana Lynn Davis, Samantha Jean Davis and Lakien LeAnne Davis; great-grandson, Maverick Nicholas Weis; sisters, Linda Russell of Lexington, NC and Kathy Hergert and husband, Mike of White Bluff, TN. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by an infant son, Benjamin Davis.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Green River Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Kerry Franks officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County is assisting the family.
