   Magdalene Long was born on June 22, 1936, the daughter of the late Cary Floyd and Loucille Matney Ray. On December 1, 1956, she was united in marriage to Frank Long, who survives. Magdalene was a member of Canaan Freewill Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, that loved spending time with her family. Magdalene Long departed this life on Monday, February 6, 2023, at the age of 86 years, 7 months, and 15 days.

   She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Frank Long; son, Tony Long (Rhonda); sister, Joyce Hess; son- in-law, Bill Crews; grandchildren, Josh Crews (Tara), Emily Maghielse (Shane), Brandon Brown, Ethan Brown (Alissa); great-grandchildren, Alexis Maghielse, Addison Maghielse, Ansleigh Maghielse, Ann Marie Crews, Grayson Crews, Hudson Crews, Easton Lane Brown, Ellianna Mae Brown, MaddieKate Adell Brown, and Jaxon Kane Brown.

   In addition to her parents, Magdalene was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Crews, and one brother, Howard Ray.

   Pallbearers included Josh Crews, Bill Crews, Shane Maghielse, Tony Long, Brandon Brown, and Ethan Brown.

   In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Fish Trap Cemetery, 2300 Little Fish Trap Road, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee 38464.
