Autumn Rose Hendricks, age 24, of Lutts, was arrested on Saturday, July 11th on multiple drug charges following a traffic stop. Sgt. Michael Byrd of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office filed a report stating that he performed at traffic stop on the vehicle in which Hendricks was a passenger for the registration plate not being illuminated. When Sgt. Byrd approached the vehicle, he allegedly smelled a strong odor of marijuana. Hendricks allegedly produced a bag from under her seat which contained approximately 12.2 grams of marijuana, and a small baggie containing a round pink “homemade” pill that field tested positive for MDMA (Ecstasy). A search of the vehicle also revealed a set of scales in the center console. Hendricks and the driver both allegedly stated that the items belonged to her. During a physical search of her person, Hendricks allegedly pulled two glass pipes out of her pants, along with 9.5 grams of methamphetamine. Hendricks was arrested on charges of manufacture/deliver/sell/possess methamphetamine, possession of schedule I controlled substance (MDMA), simple possession of schedule VI, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $162,500.00 bond.
