Lucretia Ann Whitehead Long

   Lucretia Ann Whitehead Long was born October 13, 1940 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Charlie Andrew and Ruby Louetta Morton Whitehead. She was united in marriage to Franklin  Dee Long on May 20, 1961. Mrs. Long departed this life on January 8, 2021 at the Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 2 Months, 27 Days.

   Mrs. Long enjoyed working puzzles, attending the Salem Church of Christ, but above all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

   She is survived by her husband Franklin Dee Long of Lawrenceburg, TN; two sons, Andy Long of Waynesboro, TN, Bobby Long and wife (Natascha) of Lawrenceburg, TN; three daughters, Deanna Campell and husband (Larry), Lucinda Belew and husband (Bobby) all  of Lawrenceburg, TN, Alicia Isbell and husband (Marty) of Ethridge, TN; fourteen grandchildren, David Aaron Wix, Shakeitha Beth (Wix) Chandler and husband (Daylon), Tiffany Dison and husband (Mike), Saskia Suratt and husband (Corey), Stephanie Frazier and husband (Justin), Adrianna Long, Deseray Long, Meagan Carroll and husband (Brandon), Jessica Taylor and husband (Jacob), Micah Isbell,  Isaac Isbell, Lilyanna Isbell, Maylee (MayMay) Isbell; great-grandchildren  Max Dison, Chelsea Dison, Jaxson Spangenberg, Rylan Wix, Aliyah Chandler, Ellie Kate Chandler, Donovan Suratt, Aries Suratt, MerLyn Suratt, Sofia Frazier, Mason Carroll, Jace Taylor, Jessa Taylor, and  Jax Taylor; brother, Harold Gene Whitehead and wife (Becky) of New Johnsonville, TN; special family members, Christi, Chloe, and Dallas Carrington.

   In addition to her parents, Mrs. Long was preceded in death by brother, Charles Whitehead and sister, Alice Mae Butler.

   Services will be held on January 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors at Waynesboro in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Leon Cole, Marty Isbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitehead Cemetery at Waynesboro, Tennessee.

    Pallbearers include Corey Suratt, Daylon Chandler, Brandon Carroll, Jacob Taylor, Micah Isbell, and Mike Dison. Honorary pallbeares include Isaac Isbell, Dallas Carrington, and Max Dison.
