   Lucille Nancy Martin Keeton was born April 28, 1934 in Wayne County, Tennessee to the late Coleman and Eula Martin. On February 6, 1954, she married Guy Keeton and he preceded her in death, February 10, 1987. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Forty-Eight Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs. Keeton worked for Genesco over thirty years and her last job was with Wayne County Nursing Home. She departed this life Friday, April 3, 2020 at Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 85 years, 11 months, 6 days.

   Survivors, sisters, Nell Bevis and Frankie Morgan, both of Waynesboro, TN; Iva McNutt, Chattanooga, TN and Jean Littrell, husband, Elmo, Iron City, TN; and nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Lois Watkins and Lila Whitehead.

   A caring and loving person to all leaves behind too many friends to mention. The family is filled with great sorrow that a public visitation and service for her extended family and many friends could not be held but private services for her immediate family were held April 4, 2020 at 2 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro. Tim Hanback officiated with burial in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee, Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County assisted the family.

   IN RESPONSE TO GOVERNOR LEE’S EXECUTIVE ORDER 17, WHICH TOOK EFFECT AT 12:01 ON MARCH 23, 2020, THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC VISITATIONS OR SERVICES UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. WE APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION AND APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.
