Lawrenceburg Man Arrested on Meth, Drug Paraphernalia Charges

   Brandon Joe Pigg, age 29, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, was arrested on Monday, June 14th on charges of possession of schedule II meth with intent, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving under the influence. Officer Matthew Patterson of the Waynesboro Police Department filed a report stating that he accompanied Deputy James Brock to Silver Pines Mobile Home Park to serve a warrant on an individual who ultimately was not found at the address. When the officers were walking back to their patrol vehicles, another individual, identified as Brandon Joe Pigg, was observed exiting the mobile home and getting into a vehicle. Pigg then pulled up to Officer Patterson’s vehicle, and Officer Patterson allegedly observed that Pigg seemed to be impaired. Pigg went on to allegedly fail several field sobriety tests administered by Officer Patterson. A search of Pigg’s vehicle allegedly revealed 3.4 grams of methamphetamine and a glass pipe. Pigg was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $80,000.00 bond.
