Lawrenceburg Man Arrested After Fleeing from Police

   Christopher Barth, age 36, of Lawrenceburg, TN, was arrested on Friday, April 16^th on charges of felony evading arrest, reckless endangerment, and driving on a revoked license 2^nd offense. Deputy Jim Green filed a report stating that he met a vehicle on the Natchez Trace that matched the description of a vehicle that had just evaded the Collinwood Police Department. When Deputy Green turned around and began to pursue the vehicle, the driver, later identified as Barth, allegedly fled at speeds up to 100mph. Barth eventually attempted to make a turn, and ran off the roadway into the woods where he came to rest against a tree. Barth was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $22,500.00 bond.
